General Labor

Now hiring for general labor at our Portland location!  Located at 765 Warren Avenue, Portland, ME 04103.

Looking for someone who is able to follow directions, get along well with a team, able to stand for extended periods of time, able to stoop, push, pull, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check prior to employment.

Pay: $19.00 / hour

Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

This position operates on a flexible schedule, with employees typically working three to four days per week depending on customer demand.

Job Overview: 

• Stacking/reworking pallets

What you'll be doing:

• Packaging and stacking of products.
• Follow 5S protocols.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• For food grade warehouses, follow all food safety standards set forth in a facility and actively participate in the food safety culture.

• Ability to work standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to take job orders from Supervisor/Line Leads.
• Works and gets along well with others in the organization.
• Ability to recognize and respond to unsafe working conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/factory environment.
• Ability to stoop, push, pull, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Additional Qualifications and Experience:

• Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by Supervisor.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.
