Job Title: GCP Architect

Location: Dearborn, MI (Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect with a strong background in cloud architecture, specifically in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. As a Technical Architect, you will play a critical role in guiding our technical teams and ensuring that our cloud infrastructure aligns with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
• Lead the development of cloud migration strategies and execution plans.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture.
• Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document architectural designs, processes, and best practices for future reference.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience as a Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Proficiency in designing and deploying cloud native applications and services.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, and compute services in GCP.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with data management and analytics services in GCP.
• Certifications in related technologies or methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL) are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10 15 years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud architecture and solutions.
• Proven track record of successful cloud implementations and migrations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
