Job Description

Role: Gas Turbine Mechanic

Location: Houston, TX - Contract

Duration: 12 months

Pay: $25/hr on W2(Inclusive all)

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

Description

• Demonstrating familiarity with hand, pneumatic and hydraulic tooling Accurately use precision measuring equipment (ID / OD / depth micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Possessing a deep mechanical aptitude with ability to independently comprehend complex machining or assembly drawings
• Working as a team member to follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair of units and rotating equipment while under time constraints
• Providing On-Site support as needed

Required

• 2+ years experience:
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and visually inspect aero equipment.
• Experience repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
• Capability to perform testing with minimal supervision/instruction.
• Familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.

Desirable

• Mechanical Aptitude – Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Attention to Detail – Precision in inspections, measurements, and repairs.
• Safety Mindset – Consistently follows HS&E procedures and safety standards.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
