Longwood Gardens is seeking a part-time Garden Shop Retail Lead to assist in overseeing the daily operation of The Garden Shop ensuring a high standard of execution and guest service. Responsibilities include:
- Performing Retail Associate duties while providing floor leadership and team support
- Assisting with training, coaching, and onboarding new team members
- Leading daily operations, including register accountability and cash handling
- Delivering exceptional guest service and resolve concerns as needed
- Assigning and supporting daily tasks, including replenishment and recovery

Supporting sales goals, visual merchandising, and store presentation standards
The schedule varies and requires working a minimum average of 20 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of one-year experience working in retail sales
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and hospitality skills
- Experience with cash handling, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other systems as identified
- The ability to climb, stand for long periods of time, lifting of up to 40 pounds, and occasionally working in outdoor area

Today, Longwood Gardens is one of the great gardens of the world, encompassing 1,077 acres of gardens, woodlands, meadows, fountains, a 10,010-pipe Aeolian organ and a 4-acre grand Conservatory.
