Job Description
Join the team at J.W. Jung Seed Company , an industry leader in mail-order and retail gardening. With six garden centers across Wisconsin, Jung Seed Company ships thousands of quality seeds, plants, and gardening accessories to all 50 states.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Garden Center Associate to support the daily operations of our Randolph, WI Garden Center, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining plant health.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout all stages of the shopping experience
- Assist customers in locating products and selecting items that meet their needs
- Care for plants, including watering, pruning, and general upkeep
- Perform cashiering transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Customer service and communication skills
- Previous cash-handling or retail experience preferred
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, soils, insecticides, and plant disease management preferred
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
