Community Advocates for Family & Youth (CAFY) Counseling & Family Center is seeking a fully licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to provide trauma-informed mental health services to children, youth, adults, and families on a contract basis. Day, evening, and Saturday hours available.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy.
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive services.
- Collaborate with CAFY staff and community partners as appropriate.
- Experience in TF-CBT, Play, Sandtray, or Family Reunification Therapy is a plus
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Maryland clinical license required — LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT, or equivalent.
- 2 years' experience providing behavioral health services preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Trauma-informed care experience strongly preferred.
Position: Independent Contractor
Location: Prince George’s County, Maryland | Hybrid/Telehealth options may be available
Compensation: Based on licensure, experience, and contracted services.
