The Key Carrier plays a vital support role for the management team by assisting with daily operations, including scheduling coverage and acting as the floor manager when needed. Primary responsibilities include opening and closing the store, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring a positive customer and team experience. This position serves as a developmental step toward future management opportunities, contingent upon the company's needs and the individual's performance and merit. A positive, enthusiastic, and team-focused attitude is essential for success in this role.

Major Responsibilities:

The major responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Role model "Every Customer Every Time".

• Our vision is customer satisfaction and Legendary Customer Service. The management team is responsible for ensuring that all staff share this vision.

• Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of every position.

• Have a complete working knowledge of the POS system (including transfers and special orders), key machine, and forklift certification.

• Maintain Floor Manager standards, ability to maintain 80% or higher on floor manager score cards.

• Open & close the store. • Get change for the cashiers.

• Approve returns at the registers.

• Assist the management team with disciplinary issues.

o The Key Carrier will not have the authority to perform disciplinary communication with the staff. However, they will communicate any infractions or discipline they feel need to be addressed to the store manager or personnel manager.

o The Management team will review any issue with the Key Carrier. The Store Manager has the autonomy to involve the Key Carrier in the disciplinary process or not.

Pay Scale = $18.50 - $19.50 for Base Level. Levels 1-3 = $19.50 - $23.00. Levels are based on performance.

Pay Scale = $17.50 for Base Level. Levels 1-3 = $18.00-$21.50. Levels are based on performance.

Ability to report to all scheduled shifts on time and ready to work.

Basic math skills for operating a register.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
