Full Stack Developer
Location:  Remote
Compensation:  98k-129.3k annual

The ideal candidate will design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions across both front-end and back-end technologies.

The Full Stack Developer will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and other developers to translate user stories, business requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria into scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. This position will work within an Agile/SAFe environment and participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements refinement, development, testing, code review, deployment, and production support.

The successful candidate will be capable of working independently on complex development tasks, contributing to technical and architectural discussions, troubleshooting application issues, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain full-stack software applications.
• Translate user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, and business rules into technical solutions.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly front-end applications using modern web technologies.
• Develop back-end services, APIs, application logic, and system integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using relational and/or NoSQL technologies.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code to improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Write clean, efficient, secure, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.
• Estimate development effort and identify technical dependencies, risks, and constraints.
• Participate in peer code reviews and promote software development best practices.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to clarify requirements, workflows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve software defects.
• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and PI Planning.
• Use Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar development and work-management platforms to manage assigned user stories, tasks, defects, and development activities.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and software deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for application defects and production issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation, system documentation, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as appropriate.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements that provide value to the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience developing both front-end and back-end applications.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, Java, Python, or similar.
• Experience with modern front-end development frameworks; Angular is strongly preferred.
• Experience with back-end frameworks and technologies such as .NET, Node.js, Java/Spring, Python/Django, or similar.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Strong understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and modern source-control practices.
• Experience throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience developing applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with Angular components, services, routing, state management, and API integration.
• Experience working within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar development and work-management platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Experience with application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Experience implementing secure coding practices.
• Experience developing accessible applications in accordance with applicable accessibility standards.
• Prior experience mentoring junior or mid-level developers.
• Relevant technical certifications.
