Substitute Receptionist
Location: Denver, CO | Campus: On-Site
Hiring Range: $16.82 – $20.18 per hour
Type: Substitute / As-Needed (Hours vary based on campus need)
We are seeking a Substitute Receptionist who embodies friendliness, helpfulness, and a natural talent for exceptional customer service! As a substitute at our Denver campus, you are the essential "go-to" professional who ensures our front desk remains a welcoming environment even when regular staff are away. Your ability to jump in, route calls accurately, and assist visitors with a smile is vital to maintaining our campus's high standards.
Essential Functions
- First Impressions: Greet all visitors with a professional demeanor and assist them with their specific requests.
- Communication Hub: Receive, route, and transfer telephone calls to appropriate personnel or take detailed messages.
- Administrative Support: Assist with typing, data entry, and filing or copying documents as needed.
- Lobby Management: Ensure the lobby and reception area remain presentable and professional at all times.
- Mail & Logistics: Distribute all incoming mail and prepare outgoing packages and letters.
- Records Assistance: Send and receive transcripts for student files to ensure academic records are current.
- Campus Events: Assist the Office Manager with core school events, including graduation, new student orientation, and staff appreciation events.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a receptionist.
- Technical Skills: Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm and proficiency in computer/word processing skills.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Any equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets these requirements will be considered.
Compensation
- Pay: $16.82 – $20.18 per hour.
- Colorado Protections: Includes Colorado Paid Sick/Leave (PSL) and Public Health Emergency leave.
