Front of House Manager – Ski Lodge Restaurant & Bar

Seasonal | Full-Time | Food & Beverage

We are looking for a Front of House Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our ski lodge restaurant and bar. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in great guest service, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

The Front of House Manager will be the key leader on the floor during service, coordinating the team, supporting servers and bartenders, managing guest needs, and helping ensure an efficient and positive experience for our guests. During restaurant hours, this position will also support retail sales located within the dining room.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily front-of-house restaurant and bar operations.

• Coordinate servers, bartenders, bussers, and other front-of-house staff during service.

• Keep service moving by monitoring table flow, guest needs, and staffing levels.

• Jump in wherever needed, including bussing tables, running food, assisting servers, or supporting the bar.

• Address guest concerns and resolve service issues professionally.

• Assist with front-of-house and bar scheduling.

• Train, coach, and support front-of-house employees.

• Manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and monitoring usage.

• Ensure the bar is properly stocked, organized, and operating according to resort procedures.

• Support retail sales during restaurant hours, including assisting guests and processing retail transactions through the POS system.

• Ensure accurate cash handling and POS procedures.

• Work closely with the kitchen and other resort departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining and service environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant, bar, hospitality, or supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Hands-on management style and willingness to work alongside the team.

• Ability to stay calm, organized, and solution-oriented during busy periods.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Experience with POS systems and inventory management is a plus.

• Reliable and comfortable working in a seasonal, outdoor recreation environment.

• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts during the ski season.
