Front Desk - Security

Job Details: Job Location: Ativo Albuquerque - Albuquerque, NM, Salary Range: $16.50 - $17.50Hourly, Job Shift: Night, POSITION SUMMARY

The Security team member is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the community, residents, and staff while also fulfilling receptionist duties. This role includes monitoring the premises, conducting routine rounds, answering phones, and providing exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Maintain a safe and secure environment by conducting regular security checks throughout the community, including outdoor rounds during overnight shifts.
Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, call lights, and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
Answer and direct phone calls professionally and courteously.
Greet and assist residents, visitors, and staff in a friendly and helpful manner.
Maintain accurate records of security rounds, incidents, and visitor logs.
Assist with monitoring security cameras and reporting any suspicious activities.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.
Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including fire and emergency evacuation plans.
Support administrative tasks assigned, including light clerical duties and handling deliveries.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience: 

Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in security, reception, or a related field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

Exceptional communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with residents and staff through both verbal and written means.
Strong attention to detail and adept problem-solving abilities. Proficient in multitasking, prioritization, and demonstrating excellent time management skills.
Comfortable with technology and proficient in various software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google, and others.
Ability to schedule, provide follow-up and assist others with a professional customer service demeanor

Standard Requirements:

Must meet the assisted living requirements for criminal history screening.
Must have sincere interest in providing quality and innovative care for seniors.
Ability to understand the policies and procedures of the Community including emergency plans.
Follow mandatory reporting requirements and Resident Rights.
Ability to work as a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
