Position Summary
The Front Desk Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. This role is responsible for patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling support, and delivering exceptional customer service while helping patients navigate CAHN's system of care.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and register new and returning patients.
Verify patient demographics, insurance, and eligibility information.
Assist uninsured and underinsured patients with available resources.
Educate patients on appointments, services, payment responsibilities, and required documentation.
Follow up on missed and canceled appointments.
Process payments and balance end-of-day reports.
Support telehealth follow-up scheduling.
Maintain front desk operations, supply inventories, and required reporting.
Participate in daily team huddles and other assigned duties.
Schedule
Hours of Operations
Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Occasional extended hours may be required.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of medical office, customer service, or front desk experience.
Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Experience with electronic health record systems preferred; eClinicalWorks experience strongly preferred.
Medical collections experience preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
