JOB DESCRIPTION
- Serves as a receptionist with the responsibility of answering the phone and greeting clients.
- Collect and maintain an accurate record of all revenue.
- Prepare monthly and yearly finance reports.
- Develop and design a log of scheduled events.
- Provide administrative support as designated.
- May assist in scheduling and/or coordinating events at Hudson Campbell; occasionally be available on weekends for events at Hudson Campbell.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned.
- General to include, light sweeping and mopping; light cleaning; replacing lavatory supplies; disposal of wastepaper/trash, when necessary, indoors and outdoors.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalent required. Have excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them in a timely manner. Must be capable of performing clerical duties, basic accounting techniques, and operations. Be able to coordinate and schedule events. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required. Able to establish effective working relationships while treating members of the public, fellow City of Gary employees, and representatives of outside agencies with courtesy and respect.
