The Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to create memorable first impressions for guests while working with a supportive team in one of the premier hotels in Eastern Iowa.

What You’ll Do

As a Front Desk Associate, you will play an important role in creating positive guest experiences from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities include:

·         Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival

·         Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently and accurately

·         Answer guest questions about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services

·         Handle guest requests or concerns with patience, professionalism, and care

·         Input and retrieve information from hotel computer systems

·         Assign rooms based on guest preferences and availability

·         Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries in a professional manner

·         Maintain accurate cash handling and house bank responsibilities

·         Assist with luggage storage when needed

·         Communicate guest needs to other departments to ensure seamless service

·         Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

·         Support the team and assist with other duties as assigned

Ideal candidates will have:

·         Strong customer service and communication skills

·         A friendly, positive, and professional demeanor

·         The ability to remain calm and solution-focused during busy or challenging situations

·         Strong attention to detail and organization

·         Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems

·         Ability to stand and move throughout the front office during the shift

·         High school diploma or equivalent

Previous hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
