Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
Performs customer service functions and receptionist duties for Counseling and Advising Services. Provides informational and referral assistance to students, faculty, community persons, and visitors, both in person and by telephone.

Qualifications:

• Education
  • High school graduate with course work or training in office careers, including typing required.
  • Associate Degree, office careers coursework and training in customer servicee preferred.

• Experience
  • Previous experience in a position with people contact required.
  • Must have proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Some knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office and keyboarding skills required.
  • Two years office experience in a people-contact positione preferred.

Working Conditions:

Part-Time Work Schedule: This position is for 20 hours/week.
Summer Hours (June 1- Aug 7) are M-Th 1-6pm
Non Summer Hours (Starting Aug 10) M-Th 2-6, Fri 1-5

Hiring Range:
Classified 4 Hourly/Starting salary beginning at $17.59/hourly, based on education and experience.

This is a Part Time Temporary position through September 4th
