Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve issues or escalate when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Process payments and manage billing transactions responsibly.
- Provide information about the hotel, amenities, and local attractions.
- Support other front desk duties as assigned to contribute to smooth hotel operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software are a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Residence Inn by Marriott, Milpitas (a Pacific Hotel Management Hotel), functions 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must acknowledge and understand this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move an associate from their accustomed shift as business dictates.
