Unit Description
The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake boasts breathtaking views with its location on the southern shore of Lake Erie, near Geneva State Park in the heart of Ohio Wine Country. We offer our team members discounts and referral bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Cook food and package all products to proper specifications before and during unit operations
- Properly measure and portion all food items, complying with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
- Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures, as well as keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
- Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, and the freshness and quality of all menu items
- Greet guests, take and fulfill food orders, and accept payment
- Operates golf cart and motor vehicle as necessary
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience required
- A current food safety certification is required
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- The ability to use a mobile Wi-Fi POS system; training provided
- Must have a valid driver's license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-up
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand
