Job DetailsJob Location: #18 West View Shell - PITTSBURGH, PA 15229Salary Range: $14.50 HourlyJob Shift: DayThe Food Service team member is responsible for preparing, cooking, and maintaining fresh food offerings during peak morning and midday business hours in a fast-paced convenience store environment. This role ensures food quality, safety, and presentation standards are consistently met while also providing excellent customer service and operating the cash register as needed.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items according to company recipes, standards, and food safety guidelines
Ensure all food displays, warmers, and grab-and-go items are fully stocked and visually appealing during peak hours
Monitor food freshness, rotate stock, and properly label products
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary food preparation area in compliance with health regulations
Receive and stock food and supply deliveries as needed
Provide prompt, friendly customer service, including taking food orders and answering questions
Operate the cash register accurately, including handling cash, credit/debit transactions, and issuing receipts
Assist with general store operations, including cleaning, stocking shelves, and maintaining overall store appearance
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and food production needs
Qualifications
Previous food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred
Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register/POS system
Knowledge of food safety practices (ServSafe certification a plus, if applicable)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong customer service and communication skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality, especially for early morning shifts
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 pounds as needed
