The food runner is responsible for delivering food orders accurately to guests and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables. They also assist in setting up tables and ensuring a satisfactory dining experience for all customers.
Job Description
Recognized for more than a century as the iconic address for Dallas hospitality, The Adolphus offers timeless culture, vibrant and storied surroundings, imaginative and collaborative food and drink, and immersive experiences. In it's reimagining, the 407 room downtown hotel recalls a grand European home.
A food runner is integral to the success of the restaurant. This person works hand in hand with both the kitchen and the front of the house, delivering dishes to the correct tables and guests. This individual takes direction very well and has a thorough knowledge of the menu, enabling them to accurately answer questions that may arise when delivering food.
Requested Tasks
-Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately
-Uphold sanitation and food safety standards
-Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash
-Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory
-Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations
Requested Capabilities
-Experience in a restaurant/hospitality entity
