Position Summary

Are you looking for a job where you'll find purpose AND provide immense value to your local community? Look no further than Trinity Alliance's Delivery Driver position where you'll deliver critical food support to hundreds of households throughout the Capital Region. The Delivery Driver will work alongside a committed team to pick up donated food items and deliver custom orders to guests of Trinity Alliance's emergency food programs. The schedule for this position is as follows (with some opportunity for flexibility):

• Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday – 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport food orders to residents within the City of Albany and occasionally rest of County.
• Pick up food inventory from suppliers, transport goods from supplier to our food service locations.
• Load and unload vehicles of food products.
• Maintain high standards of food and road safety.
• Support pantries with routine service provision at the direction of Management.
• Be open to addressing any food-related issues and feedback from clients or other agencies.
• Assess food pantry consumers for other social needs and make connections to appropriate internal and external programs as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and serve the customers of the food pantry according to program guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide excellent customer service and wrap-around service delivery.
• Attend required meetings and other food-related workshops or conferences.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in relevant electronic and paper-based forms.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Abilities & Skills:

• Valid NYS driver's license, insurance, and good driving record.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.

• Ability to effectively work with people.

Salary: $19.50 per hour

Part-time 12-15 hours per week
