Summary
The Sammons Grill, Golf Course Restaurant seeks a Food and Beverage Attendant to provide food and beverage service, wait tables and clean all service areas. Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greets customers, takes orders, picks up dishes, and cleaning tables
- Assists in food preparation and cooking
- Stocks, controls product inventory, and operates concessions area
- Serves food & beverages to customers
- Sanitizes high-touch surfaces; cleans dining room, food prep areas, grill, and kitchen equipment
- Assists with tournaments and private events
- Maintains accurate records of sales through the proper operation of the cash register and point of sale (POS) system
- Operates POS terminal to input customer orders, receives, and processes credit card or cash payments, and enters amount receive
- Adheres to attendance policy; ensures punctuality for assigned shift
- Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food service operations
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Currently certified with TABC and Texas Food Handlers or the ability to become certified within 2 weeks of hire date
