FOIA/Program Analyst II
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
Work Location: Remote (U.S.) through the CMS Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
Salary Range: $28-$30
Position Overview
CLJ is seeking FOIA Program Analysts to support document review, redactions, records management, case processing, and disclosure support activities. Successful candidates will assist in processing federal FOIA requests and preparing records for release.
Responsibilities
- Review responsive records.
- Perform preliminary disclosure analysis.
- Apply standard FOIA exemptions.
- Prepare records for production and release.
- Conduct redactions using approved tools.
- Maintain case files and tracking systems.
- Assist with quality assurance reviews.
- Support senior analysts with complex requests.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in FOIA processing, legal support, records management, compliance review, paralegal services, or similar analytical work.
- Strong attention to detail and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Federal FOIA experience.
- Redaction and disclosure review experience.
- Experience working with federal records or legal documents.
