Flooring installers are the front line of Floor Coverings International, executing on our quality and craftsmanship at each job.  Our install teams leave the lasting impression that determines our success. We respect the customer and their home, we deliver what we promise, and we clean up. 

Trades Needed
We're hiring independent contractor installers in the following specialties:

• Floating Floors (LVP, laminate)
• Carpet
• Tile
• Hardwood
• Sand & Finish

You don't need experience in all five — indicate the specialty (or specialties) you install when you apply. We especially value deep, specialized expertise — installers who are true masters of their craft in one category — but we're glad to hear from those skilled across a couple of these as well.

CompensationThis is a 1099 independent contractor role. Jobs are priced per piece/task by area, and installers agree to a total job price before work begins — you're quoting and completing full jobs, not working hourly.

Requirements

• Own tools and reliable vehicle
• Valid driver's license
• General liability insurance
• Workers' compensation insurance
• Minimum of 5 of professional installation experience in your specialty
• Ability to read and follow manufacturer installation instructions and job work orders
• Willingness to pass a background check
• Reliable communication and scheduling — you'll be in customers' homes and businesses representing our company
• Own transportation to job sites across DuPage County and the western Chicago suburbs
