Location: Quincy, IL

Schedule: Mon-Fri start time 5pm, 40 hours per week

Put your strength and floor cleaning expertise to work for Bee Line Support! We are looking to hire an energetic NIGHT-SHIFT Custodian with Floor Care Experience! The perfect candidate has an eye for small details, the elbow grease to get the job done right, and a heart for people.  

• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Drive vans, industrial trucks, or other vehicles required to travel to, or to perform, cleaning work.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or with hand trucks.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours or checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
• Clean laboratory equipment, such as glassware or metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, rags, or power cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Works out of Quincy, IL location and services locations in IL, IA, MO
• Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• Available to work overnights, start time around 5 pm
• Needs clean driving record, valid IL Driver’s License
• 2+ years of relevant experience in floor care, carpet steam cleaning, project work such as construction clean ups and general cleaning
• Competent with floor scrubber, floor burnisher, and carpet extractor
• Comfortable with communicating via email and operating a smartphone
