Childcare Floater/Teacher Aide

Pleasant, South Carolina who is flexible, dependable, and passionate about helping classrooms run smoothly while creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children. This role is perfect for educators who enjoy variety, teamwork, and making a difference throughout the school day.🧸 What Is a Floater Teacher?As a Floater Teacher, you’ll:

• Support multiple classrooms as needed
• Step in to assist with ratios, breaks, transitions, and coverage
• Work with different age groups, from infants through Pre‑K
• Be a valued part of the teaching team across the school

No two days are the same — and that’s what many of our floaters love most about the role.⏰ ScheduleMonday–Friday; multiple shifts available! 

• 2:00pm - 6:00pm
• 8:00am - 5:00pm

💰 CompensationCompetitive hourly pay based on education and experience

• $14-16 per hour

📚 What You’ll Do

• Assist Lead and Assistant Teachers in daily classroom activities
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
• Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
• Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and coverage
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Follow all licensing, safety, and center policies

✅ What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Flexibility and willingness to work with different age groups
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a team‑first mindset
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
