The Role

The Fleet Scheduler is responsible for the day-to-day assignment and optimization of aircraft throughout the Jet Excellence fleet. This role supports operational efficiency by managing aircraft positioning, monitoring schedule changes, coordinating with Operations and Maintenance, and ensuring trips are assigned in a manner that supports customer service, fleet utilization, and operational readiness.

Primary Duties

Aircraft Scheduling
•    Assign aircraft to scheduled trips.
•    Monitor daily fleet activity and aircraft positioning.
•    Optimize aircraft routing and utilization.
•    Identify potential scheduling conflicts and operational risks.
•    Coordinate schedule adjustments as operational needs evolve.
Fleet Monitoring
•    Monitor aircraft availability and readiness.
•    Track maintenance events and operational disruptions.
•    Coordinate with Maintenance Control regarding aircraft status.
•    Assist in recovery planning during irregular operations.
Operational Coordination
•    Partner with Operations, Crew Scheduling, and Maintenance Control to support trip execution.
•    Communicate schedule changes and aircraft assignments.
•    Support recovery efforts resulting from maintenance, weather, or operational disruptions.
Administrative Responsibilities
•    Maintain accurate fleet data within Jet Insight.
•    Ensure aircraft assignments and schedule updates are properly documented.
•    Participate in departmental projects and process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in Part 135 charter aviation, preferably within flight operations, dispatch, fleet scheduling, or a related operational function.
• Working knowledge of aircraft movements, positioning, utilization, and operational constraints in a commercial aviation environment.
• Experience coordinating aircraft schedules, monitoring fleet activity, or supporting day-of operational execution.
• Proficiency with aviation scheduling and operational platforms, including JetInsight, Avinode, or similar.
• Ability to interpret changing operational information and adjust aircraft assignments or schedules accordingly.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate, timely operational data and documentation.
• Availability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on operational coverage requirements.

• Adaptability: Responds effectively to changing aircraft availability, maintenance events, weather conditions, and other operational developments.
• Decision-Making: Uses available operational information to make timely aircraft-assignment and scheduling decisions, escalating significant risks when appropriate.

Job Type 

• Remote 

• Schedule: 4 days on / 3 days off
• Minimum 2 consecutive days off per rotation)
