Fixed Operations Specialist

Job Description

Field Work Arrangement: This is a field-based position that requires up to 75% travel to dealerships within the assigned territory on a recurring basis. The selected candidate must currently reside within the Michigan or Ohio territory or be willing to relocate to Detroit, Southeast Michigan, or a surrounding area approved by leadership within 60 days of the start date.

The Role 

The Fixed Operations Specialist has the territorial responsibilities of empowering a cohesive and adaptable team of Zone and District Managers who integrate parts and service functions on a day-to-day basis. They may be involved in a variety of initiatives including training, coaching, as well as process integration, tools development, performance and analysis reports and business planning. 

What You'll Do (Responsibilities) 

• Serve as a trusted advisor to Zone and District Parts and Service Managers, providing guidance and support to achieve business objectives. 
• Drive revenue growth, key performance indicator (KPI) performance, and effective execution of Customer Care and Aftersales programs and initiatives. 
• Identify, address, and resolve Zone and District business needs across areas such as inventory management, warranty, customer experience, retention, training, and electric vehicle compliance. 
• Develop, implement, and document action plans to address performance gaps, business challenges, and emerging opportunities. 
• Partner with regional and field teams to ensure execution aligns with business goals, performance metrics, and established action plans. 

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) 

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience 
• 5+ years of relevant experience, guiding and improving fixed operations 
• Proficient automotive industry knowledge and business acumen including parts, service operations, warranty administration and customer experience 
• Ability to travel >50% of the time domestically, cross multiple states within the region 
• Must possess and maintain the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle in accordance with the licensing requirements of the states in which work is performed

This role is categorized as remote; however, the selected candidate must live in an approved city within the assigned territory or be willing to relocate. The candidate will be required to relocate, or already reside in the approved city no later than the timeline provided at offer.

The selected candidate will be required to travel at least 50% or more on a frequent basis.

This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
