As a Fitness Dance Class Instructor (Zumba) with personal training you will play an important role ensuring our residents have the support and services they need to thrive and enhance their quality of life.

In This Role You Will:

• Leading classes (Zumba) for an older, active population that enjoys the social and active aspects of exercise. We also have potential opportunities for personal training as schedule allows.
• Responsible for creating classes and programs and will have the use of all equipment and space available to our residents here on campus.
• Teaching an older population offering great classes with modifications, as needed.
• Leading aqua aerobics classes and/or land class instructor (balance, resistance training, cardio - seated and standing)
• One on One personal training

Shift Details:

• Contract part-time position with flexible days and hours

Who You Are:

• Detail oriented individual with previous instructor training experience preferred but not required
• Physically capable, dependable, and prepared to actively engage in hands-on work, including bending, twisting, stretching, repetitive motion, pushing, pulling, and safely lifting or moving up to 25 pounds in support of daily operations
• Eager to learn and grow, with the ability to quickly absorb on-the-job training and apply new skills effectively to meet and exceed performance expectations
• Personal Training Certification and/or Exercise Science, therapy or similar degree required
