The Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for the administration of assigned program areas (i.e. Sports, Wellness programs, Group X, or Personal Training). They may assist in the supervision of the employees including assisting in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff. The supervision of programs includes maintaining and improving the quality and enrollment and retention of participants and being aware of current trends in the field. 
Qualifications:

Designated as First Responder in emergencies or accidents/incidents. 

Completes routine care on the equipment, notify the Wellness Director of any equipment that needs repair or replacement and assists in monitoring and improving the cleanliness of the facility. 

Provides safe programs and environment for all participants, volunteers and staff. 

Promotes volunteerism to all members and participants. 

Actively participates in the Invest-In-Youth annual campaign. 

Attends all staff meetings and training associated with the Wellness Program. 

Perform other duties/assignments as needed at the YMCA.
