Finance & Accounting Internship – East Lansing, MI

This is a paid Internship with an hourly rate of $20/hr

Duration: May 2027 – August 2027

Key Responsibilities of a Finance & Accounting Intern:

• Review and release wires 
• Review daily ACH report 
• Initiate recurring ACH payments 
• Assist with properly applying payments to loans 
• Assist with escrow process.  
• Reconcile daily balancing accounts.   
• Finance and accounting projects.  
• Assist staff to ensure customer service exceeds customer expectations.  

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

• Sophomore status or above in your academic program.
• A minimum GPA of 3.00 is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
