Field Technician (UST) - Environmental Projects

Training will be provided and there is advancement potential for top performers.

Responsibilities:

Perform underground storage tank compliance testing and repairs
Provide support on construction and larger repair projects
Respond to maintenance and other service calls

Compensation: $25-35/hour commensurate with qualifications and experience (overtime paid)
QualificationsSkills Required:

One year of construction or related experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other strenuous tasks
Clear communication and ability to work in a team environment
Absolute attention to detail and a focus on quality
Problem solving skills
Computer proficiency

Desirable Skills and Certifications:

Plumbing, concrete or other construction trade experience
Forklift, backhoe or other equipment operation experience
Previous underground storage tank testing and repair experience
ICC UST Installation/Retrofitter Certification

Other Requirements:

Valid California driver’s license with excellent driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug (including marijuana) and alcohol screening
Ability to pass annual respirator fitness test
Occasional out-of-town work
