Field Sales Manager

About the Role

We're hiring a Field Sales Manager (FSM) to own customer acquisition across the Los Angeles metro to bring business into our Commercial Facility in Los Angeles, CA. You'll spend 80%+ of your week in the field: identifying prospects, engaging decision-makers face-to-face, and closing accounts that drive recurring revenue for Hampr. You'll be the face of the brand in your territory.

This is a blank page, not a playbook you inherit. You'll be the first Field Sales Manager at Hampr, building the LA territory from zero: no existing pipeline, no established process, no one to copy. Get it right, and what you build becomes the template every market we launch after this one runs on. Your name is on the foundation.

.Spend 80%+ of your time in the field: prospecting in person, walking neighborhoods, meeting decision-makers face to face.

Build and own a B2B pipeline across multifamily/apartment communities, hotels and short-term rentals, gyms and fitness studios, salons and spas, daycares, senior living, student housing, sports facilities, and other high-volume laundry generators.

Run the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate, close, and hand off cleanly to operations.

Consistently hit and exceed monthly targets for new accounts and recurring revenue.

Maintain rigorous CRM discipline in your territory. You'll maintain accurate, current records of every account, contact, opportunity stage, and next action — the foundation for pipeline visibility, accurate forecasting, and coaching your team. 

Represent Hampr at local events, property manager meet-ups, trade shows, and community happenings to build pipeline and brand presence.

Partner with our operations team to make sure new accounts are onboarded smoothly and stay happy after the close.

Bring market intelligence back to leadership: pricing, competitors, objections, and what customers actually want.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of outside or field sales experience, ideally B2B.
• Experience selling into multifamily, hospitality, fitness, beauty, retail leadership, medical sales, or service industries.
• Experience launching a sales territory from scratch without a pipeline or playbook.
• Comfort with cold prospecting and door-to-door / property-to-property selling.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills. You're someone people remember after one meeting.
• Self-directed: you can manage your own calendar, pipeline, and priorities without daily supervision.
• Unbelievably organized, with the discipline to turn what works into playbooks and documented processes other reps can follow.
• Must live in the greater Los Angeles area and be familiar with the city and its neighborhoods.
• Valid California driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance (this role requires daily driving across the metro). A clean and safe driving record.
• Proficient with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar), standard sales tech, and Google Suite.
• Proficient in Google Suite productivity tools including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Calendar to manage communications, collaborate on documents, track sales data, and coordinate schedules with clients and internal teams. 
• A track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
• Must have experience in a remote work environment.
• Over 80% of your time will be driving throughout the LA metro.
• Must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs, and carry sales materials (up to 25 lbs) for extended periods.
• Spanish fluency is a plus!

Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, rewarding strong performers for the growth they generate. $80,000 - $90,000 base + Commission + Equity (OTE at 100%: $145,000 - $165,000)
