Position Summary 

Northeastern Rural Health Clinics (NRHC) is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner with additional certification as a Certified Nurse-Midwife (FNP/CNM) to join our team in Susanville, California. 

The FNP/CNM will provide primary care to patients across the lifespan, along with women’s health, prenatal, postpartum, and maternity care, including deliveries at Banner Lassen Medical Center. The typical clinic volume is approximately 18 patients per full clinic day. 

Full-time clinic schedules may be structured as four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days. Part-time schedules may also be considered. 

Compensation and Benefits 

Full-time salary of $165,000–$188,000 

$50,000 sign-on bonus, depending on eligibility 

Productivity incentive opportunities 

Relocation assistance up to $10,000 

40 hours of paid CME time annually 

$2,000 annual CME allowance

Qualifications: Qualifications 

Graduate degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program 

Completion of an accredited nurse-midwifery program 

Current national certification as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse-Midwife 

Current California RN, Nurse Practitioner, and Certified Nurse-Midwife credentials, or the ability to obtain them 

Current furnishing number and DEA registration, or the ability to obtain them 

Ability to meet NRHC and Banner Lassen Medical Center credentialing and privileging requirements 

Commitment to providing quality care to rural and underserved patients
