Job DetailsJob Location: Lubbock Family Medicine - Lubbock, TX 79413Education Level: 4 Year DegreeWe are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager to join our growing Family Practice team. This is a leadership position for an RN who enjoys patient care but also has the organizational and management skills needed to lead a clinical team and help keep a busy primary care office running efficiently.

The RN Nurse Manager will work closely with providers and clinic leadership to oversee nursing and clinical operations, maintain high standards of patient care, and ensure staff members are following established policies, procedures, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and daily supervision of nurses, LVNs, medical assistants, and other clinical staff.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, orientation, and competency assessments for new clinical employees.
Monitor staff performance, attendance, productivity, and compliance with clinic expectations.
Assist with clinical audits, documentation reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Step in and assist with direct patient care when necessary.
 

QualificationsQualifications

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Previous experience in family practice, primary care, internal medicine, or an outpatient clinic strongly preferred
Previous nursing leadership, charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager experience preferred
