Employment Type: Part-Time | 20-25 hours per week

Schedule: Monday 1pm-5pm, Tuesday 12pm-5pm, Wednesday 1pm-5pm, Thursday 12pm-5pm, Friday 1pm-4pm with potential to expand hours during summer months

Compensation: $35-$40/hour based on experience

Requirements

• Maintain a smoke-free and fragrance-free environment
• Candidates are required to be up to date on recommended vaccinations in line with American Academy of Pediatrics and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines
• CPR and First Aid preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

About Our Family

We're a close-knit, active family of five navigating the full-throttle season of raising young kids (ages 5, 3, and 7 months) alongside demanding corporate careers. With our oldest in Kindergarten this fall, we are finding that our after-school and evening routines need an extra layer of steady support. Our days are long, and our family time is precious.

We love cooking together and prioritizing family dinners, but by the end of the day, having the prep work done and laundry folded makes all the difference. In our free time, we love getting outside to a nearby park or spending quality time together.

Key Responsibilities:

Family Support

• School pickup Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (2:25pm; Wednesday early dismissal requires arrival by approximately 1:00pm)
• Occasional aftercare pickup Tuesday and Thursday (approximately 4:00pm)
• Light supervision and back-up childcare after school with engaging ideas for after-school time
• Kid-related errands as needed
• Flexibility for occasional date night or weekend coverage once trust is established

Meal Support

• Meal prep support: chop vegetables, prep proteins, start grains and proteins so the family can finish the meal when they arrive home
• Prepare simple, healthy after-school snacks for kids
• Follow household food allergy protocols carefully (egg and walnut allergies)
• Monitor pantry inventory and help maintain the grocery list
• Put away large grocery and Costco orders received via Instacart
• Keep kitchen tidy and organized throughout the day

Household Organization & Maintenance

• Morning reset: clean up breakfast dishes, run or unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, and tidy the main living areas before the afternoon shift begins
• Light daily tidying including vacuuming high-traffic areas and general surface maintenance
• Help prepare the home ahead of bi-weekly house cleaner visits when possible
• Create and maintain household organization systems as needed
• Be available to let in contractors when scheduled

Laundry & Linens

• Wash, dry, and fold laundry
• Organize and put away folded laundry
• Strip, wash, and remake beds with clean sheet sets; rotate linens and towels once per week(master bed & kids' beds)
• Keep laundry area tidy and well-stocked

Inventory & Errands

• Receive and put away Instacart groceries and household orders
• Occasional errand support (returns, dry cleaning drop-off) as needed
