Faculty Services Administrator

Position Summary

Manage services for full-time, adjunct, and visiting faculty. In collaboration with Administrative Director, coordinate faculty searches and faculty promotions/review. Advise Administrative Director and faculty on University policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements. Manage delivery of curriculum services including course inventories, new course submission, space inventory. Serve as liaison with school and University offices; interpret and University policies and ensure departmental compliance.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's degree
Preferred Education:Master’s degree
Required Experience:2 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with program administration or operations.
Preferred Experience:3 years of relative experience. Experience in a creative professional or academic environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent written, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, advise and problem solve. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and database applications including SIS
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite. Knowledge of UDW+, Albert, and PeopleSync

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00 to USD $86,186.10. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
