Facility Custodian

Job Details: Level: Entry, Job Location: Turbo Drill Industries Inc - CONROE, TX, Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day, The Facility Custodian is responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the facility and will ensure the shop/building is sanitized, cleaned, and orderly by taking stock of cleaning supplies and completing cleaning jobs daily and on a regular basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the shop including restrooms and kitchen/breakrooms.
Cleaning (sweeping and mopping) tile and other floors.
Cleaning commodes and vanity areas, sweeping and mopping floors and restocking restrooms.
Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed and maintaining a thorough inventory.
Sanitizing common touch surfaces.
Collecting and taking out trash and recycling from all areas.
Restocking supplies in break areas, keep surfaces and equipment clean and sanitized.
Filling machines with coolant and oil daily.
Empty chip hoppers each day.
Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and unpleasant odors.
Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Communication Skills: ability to interact professionally with co-workers, vendors, and visitors.    
Spelling and Reading Skills: Basic skills required for instructional and technical information.
