Overview
Brief Description: Welding and fabrication in shop and field. General machining duties. All duties assigned by the supervisor are to be performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Candidate must be:
- Proficient in basic electrode and mig welding, including pipe fitting and pipe welding.
- Able to assemble steel structures utilizing fabrication drawing.
- Proficient in basic machine shop practice
- Able to work without direct supervision.
- Able to work overtime when required.
- All other jobs assigned by the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
Experience/Requirements:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5-Years of manual and CNC Machining experience
- Must complete Mechanical Apptitude Test
Preferred:
- 2-Year verifiable work experience in industrial environment
- Completion of a recognized welding program or machine shop program
