Experienced Repair Technician - Ski & Snowboard

Overview

Brighton is looking for an Experienced Ski and Snowboard Repair Tech to join our small team. This position will include evaluating, recommending, and giving accurate time and cost estimates to guests in regards to equipment repairs. Time management is crucial, and understanding the ways that skis and snowboards are made is key to keeping up with the work in the shop. This postition is great for someone who loves alternately working solo and in a small team. 

Responsibilities

• Be a friendly and welcoming face for guests from across the globe!
• Fix and adjust ski and snowboard bindings
• Repair ski and snowboard bases
• Wax and tune skis and snowboards
• Maintain a clean, inviting and visually pleasing shop
• Complete daily opening, cleaning, and closing duties as assigned
• Apply minor first aid to self and guests
• Accurately process payments for services
• Assist your teammates in creating exceptional experiences for our guests

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Binding certification and testing per ASTM standards
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Comfortable operating heavy machinery and power tools
• Passion for guest service and the hospitality industry
• Able to remain calm, cool and collected under pressure
• Be willing to work 3 days a week during peak season
• Have reliable transporation to the resort
