HomeWell Care Services – Chula Vista is urgently seeking experienced male caregivers for two immediate client assignments in the South Bay San Diego area.

We currently have two clients who prefer a male caregiver. One client primarily needs companionship and social engagement, while the other requires hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.

We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and professional caregivers who enjoy helping seniors and other adults remain safe, comfortable, engaged, and independent at home.

Current Opportunities

Companionship Assignment

This client primarily needs a caregiver who can provide:

• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Social engagement and activities
• Safety supervision
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping
• Assistance with errands and routine daily activities as needed

We are looking for someone who is friendly, engaging, patient, dependable, and comfortable building a positive relationship with the client.

Personal Care Assignment

This client requires a caregiver experienced and comfortable providing more hands-on assistance, which may include:

• Bathing and grooming assistance
• Dressing
• Toileting and personal hygiene
• Mobility and ambulation assistance
• Transfers
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and safety supervision
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Following the client's individualized Plan of Care

Previous hands-on personal-care experience is strongly preferred for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Previous professional caregiving experience preferred
• Experience working with seniors and adults who need assistance at home
• Personal-care and transfer experience strongly preferred for the hands-on assignment
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
• CNA or Home Care Aide experience is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to follow an individualized Plan of Care and report changes or concerns promptly
• Must meet applicable California Home Care Aide and HomeWell employment requirements
