Experienced Hebrew Tutor

We are seeking an exceptional Hebrew tutor to provide engaging, one-on-one virtual instruction to a middle school student who is beginning her study of Hebrew.

The ideal candidate is an experienced educator who is fluent in Hebrew and knows how to make language learning engaging, interactive, and enjoyable for a young learner. We are looking for someone who can build a strong connection with the student while developing foundational skills in speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

Because sessions will take place virtually, candidates should be confident teaching online and skilled at keeping a student actively engaged through conversation, games, visuals, interactive activities, and other creative approaches.

Qualifications

• Fluent or native-level proficiency in Hebrew
• Experience teaching or tutoring children or adolescents
• Experience providing virtual instruction
• Ability to teach Hebrew to a beginning learner
• Engaging, warm, and energetic teaching style
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make lessons interactive, age-appropriate, and enjoyable
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable providing individualized instruction

This is a virtual tutoring position, allowing us to consider exceptional educators regardless of location. We are particularly interested in finding a tutor who can build a positive relationship with the student and help her become genuinely excited about learning Hebrew.

$60-$80 per hour

Schedule Requirements

Sessions must take place on Tuesdays or Thursdays, with a start time of either 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Applicants must have consistent weekly availability during at least one of these time slots. One session per week.
