Experienced Cook & Dishwasher – University Dining

We're hiring experienced Cooks and Dishwashers for an immediate opportunity supporting a busy university dining operation. We're looking for dependable team members who are comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen environment.

COOK – Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and production needs

• Work grill, sauté, fry, oven, and other kitchen stations

• Prepare food for high-volume meal periods

• Follow portion, quality, and presentation standards

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation

• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

• Assist with prep, stocking, and kitchen cleanup as needed

COOK – Requirements

• Previous professional Cook or Line Cook experience required

• High-volume cooking experience strongly preferred

• Experience in university dining, corporate dining, hotels, catering, healthcare, or restaurants is a plus

• Strong knife skills and basic culinary knowledge

• Able to follow recipes and production sheets

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen

• Dependable with strong attendance

• Reliable transportation

• Flexible availability, including weekends as needed

DISHWASHER – Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment

• Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized

• Properly sort and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment

• Assist with kitchen cleanup and sanitation

• Remove trash and maintain clean floors and work areas

• Assist kitchen staff with additional cleaning and basic support duties as needed

• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

DISHWASHER – Requirements

• Previous dishwashing, kitchen, restaurant, catering, or food service experience preferred

• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties

• Able to lift, carry, and move kitchen supplies as needed

• Dependable with strong attendance

• Reliable transportation

• Flexible availability, including weekends as needed
