What You'll Do

As an Automotive Service Technician at Allen Turner Pre-Owned, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles while ensuring every customer receives safe, reliable, and high-quality service.

Responsibilities include:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain domestic, import, and luxury vehicles
Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and preventative services
Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately identify mechanical and electrical concerns
Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, electrical, and drivability repairs
Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information to efficiently troubleshoot vehicle concerns
Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards
Document repair recommendations and completed work accurately
Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship
Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure efficient vehicle repairs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred qualifications include:

Previous experience as an Automotive Service Technician
Experience diagnosing and repairing multiple vehicle makes and models preferred
ASE certifications are preferred but not required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to operate diagnostic scanners and shop equipment
Ability to perform repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) screening
