*SUMMARY: The Executive Director, Project Management (EDPM) is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Project Management team within a therapeutic group. This is a leadership role*

*EDPM is responsible for the successful conduct of assigned projects *
* Line management responsibility for the recruitment, training, development and performance review of personnel*
*In cooperation with business and senior management, responsible for the strategy and acquisition of new business*
*Responsible for developing and maintaining effective client relationships*
*Alliance Partnership responsibility*
*Sub-TA Head responsibility*
*VPPM deputy within therapeutic group *

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*

_Tasks may include but are not limited to:_

Oversee and be responsible for overall project financial performance (all departments), including ongoing assessment of financial progress of all assigned projects
Oversee the development, implementation and adherence to project plans and performance indicators
Conduct budget review and provide financial analysis support as needed
Review and approve strategy, content and costing of new business proposals
Identify resource needs for new projects
Meet resource management and utilization targets for assigned staff
WCT appointed primary contact where WCT has Alliance Partnership with sponsor/s
As per management appointment could lead sub-therapeutic groups and in such role will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the Project Management Team within sub-therapeutic group
Develop and maintain connections and good working relationships with sponsors
Conduct regular project and sponsor relationship reviews to ensure projects are delivered to the appropriate procedures, time, budget and sponsor satisfaction
Facilitate the resolution of any issues arising from the sponsor relationship
Provide capabilities presentations and attend bid presentations
Ensure project deliverable are met to sponsor and WCT expectations on all assigned projects
Participates in company initiatives as directed by VPPM
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Experienced in the creation and implementation of new processes
Good computer skills

*REQUIREMENTS:*

University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution (e.g., nursing certification, medical or laboratory technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Minimum of twelve (12) years of global clinical pharmaceutical industry experience including 8 years demonstrated skills and competency in clinical project management tasks and the management of staff
Demonstrated ability to lead and line manage staff in a global environment
Demonstrated ability to inspire effective teamwork and motivate personnel within a matrix system
Experience in managing global drug development programs
Proven ability to negotiate with clients in a professional manner
Available for domestic and international travel, including overnight stays
Valid Passport
Ability to drive and have a valid driver’s license
Fluent in local office language and in English, both written and verbal
Broad knowledge of drug development process and client needs

Promotion to the next level is not automatic based on years of experience. Personnel are evaluated on proven competency, level of responsibility, and ability to work independently.

The salary range for this position is annually (For hourly paid positions, the stated salary range reflects hourly rates):

United States of America - $185,500.00 - $367,500.00

The salary range provided is intended to give candidates an understanding of potential earnings. Compensation will fall within the provided range, and it not a guarantee of exact salary. The final salary will be determined based on relevant experience, performance, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, we offer a competitive benefits package depending on location. We ensure pay equity and transparency and comply with all applicable labor laws. Salary information will be discussed during the interview process, and we encourage candidates to inquire about compensation at any stage.
