Summary
The Event Staff will greet members and guests while facilitating rock climbing orientations and special events. They are also responsible for processing registrations, issuing gear, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.
Job Description
Summary:
As an Event Staff, you will foster a fun and welcoming environment by providing the utmost customer service to our members and guests and ensuring a smooth flow of special events at the gym for an outstanding CRG community experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests.
- Facilitate instruction and orientations during special events (teach people about rock climbing basics).
- Develop proficiency in top rope belaying.
- Process registrations, review all proper forms and waivers, and issue climbing gear.
- Assist in cleaning after events.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Flexible schedule – ability to work nights and weekends during booked events.
- Friendly, approachable, patient, and energetic personality.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working with children and comfortable working around large groups of people.
- Comfortable being at heights of 40+ feet and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks.
- Self-motivated to work, self-directed and independent as well as a Team Player.

Our route setting, friendly staff and cleanliness give you the ability to train your hardest and push yourself to the limit, while the community of climbers will provide a great source of fun, and a place to engage with others.
Our rock wall designs are state of the art and include the best top-roping, leading, and bouldering around. Walltopia and Rockwerx have worked in some of the best slabs, lead arches, aretes, beginner areas and steep slopes that any gym has seen, while maintaining open areas for competition viewing and relaxation between climbs.
In addition to our climbing, we offer exercise equipment, a weight training area, yoga, and comfortable areas for parents to watch and relax with wireless internet. We host incredible group events and have the multifunctional spaces to provide food and refreshments.
