Evening Commercial Cleaner — Flexible Start Time

Location: Tomah, WI
Schedule: Part-Time Evenings
Hours: Approximately 15–25 hours per week
Pay: $16-$18 hourly

Simply Clean is looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual to join our commercial cleaning team at an established client facility in Tomah, WI.

This is a great position for someone who wants consistent part-time evening work without being tied to an exact start time every night. Once trained, you will work primarily independently and have flexibility within a generous evening/overnight completion window.

Schedule Options

We are currently hiring to fill one of two possible schedules. The final schedule will be determined based on our existing team’s coverage and the availability of the right candidate.

Option 1 — Monday through Friday

• Approximately 4 hours per shift
• Work may begin anytime after 5:00 PM
• Work must be completed by 5:00 AM the following morning
• Approximately 20 hours per week

Option 2 — Thursday, Friday & Sunday

• Approximately 5–7 hours per shift
• Work may begin anytime after 3:00 PM
• Work must be completed by 4:00 AM the following morning
• Approximately 15–21 hours per week

There may also be an opportunity to create a combination of these schedules depending on the availability and preferences of the person we hire.

You do not need to be available for both schedules to apply. If either option works well for you, we encourage you to apply and tell us which schedule you prefer.

This position offers a high level of independence and scheduling flexibility. Rather than reporting at one exact time each evening, you will have a window in which your assigned work can be completed.

That flexibility comes with responsibility. We need someone we can trust to consistently show up, complete the entire scope of work, maintain our quality standards, and communicate when something needs attention.

Job Duties

Your assigned work will include a combination of the following:

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop hard-surface floors
• Vacuum carpeted areas
• Dust work surfaces, furniture, ledges, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, fixtures, floors, and walls
• Replenish paper products, soap, and other restroom supplies
• Clean entrance glass and interior glass
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Operate and properly maintain vacuums and other cleaning equipment
• Perform assigned detail and periodic cleaning tasks
• Respond appropriately to client requests and feedback
• Report maintenance issues, damage, supply needs, or other concerns to management
• Follow company safety, security, timekeeping, and facility procedures
• Communicate effectively with management
• Complete assigned work efficiently and thoroughly without direct supervision

• Accept feedback professionally and correct concerns when needed
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Be able to pass a criminal background check
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be physically capable of being on their feet throughout the shift and regularly walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crouching

Previous commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required for the right person. We are more interested in reliability, work ethic, attention to detail, and your ability to work independently.
