Esthetician-Part Time (Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino)

To provide each guest with outstanding and personalized customer service, while providing facials, waxing, make-up & body treatments with high skill set. 

Responsibilities

• Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members.
• Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
• Holds a strong understanding of all skin types with the ability to analyze skin and suggest treatments and retail products for home care.
• Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
• Participate and attend all education classes and staff meetings.
• Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members.
• Provide consistent professional treatments as directed in training classes and accepted certification practices.
• Properly care for equipment and product used.
• Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings and services provided. 
• Ability to compare the different services on the menu and customize facials or body treatment to meet the individual client’s needs. 
• The ability to recommend and up-selling services. 
• Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy 
• Respond to guest requests immediately, accurately, and appropriately.
• Understand the importance of and committed to continuing education. 
• Able to work unsupervised to a prolonged period.
• Uphold all protocols for set-up, treatment provided and cleanliness of treatment rooms.
• Maintain a clean, safe, stocked, and well-organized work area.
• Maintains spa appearance, cleanliness, a polished look and proper uniform standards.
• Comfortable around guests who may be in a state of undress.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed and passed State Board of Cosmetology.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. 
• Must be able to maneuver in and around the salon, spa and fitness area. 
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs, bend, kneel and stoop when working with exercise equipment. 
• Responds to visual and oral cues. 
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to work in a close-knit environment with constant co-work involvement.
• Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
