ESOP Attorney

Stevens & Lee is seeking a highly qualified attorney with at least seven years of experience to join its growing national ESOP practice. Ideal candidates will have experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and capital market transactions.

Experience in the following areas is preferred:

• ESOP transactions: Sales of equity to ESOPs and related transaction financing.
• M&A: Acquisitions of stock or assets by ESOP-owned companies and sales of ESOP-owned businesses.
• ESOP compliance: Ongoing compliance and advisory support.

The breadth of this practice within the firm allows us to welcome candidates located anywhere in the country. Locations in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, New England and North Carolina markets are preferred. Multi-state licensure is a plus. Must be licensed and in good standing in the state of residence.

The base annual pay range for this full-time role is between $185,000 and $225,000 and represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.
