High Transit LLC is seeking qualified part-time drivers to escort oversized, overweight loads in a manner that promotes public safety. This position is ideal for candidates looking to work 2-3 days per week. This position requires Escort Drivers to work as part of our Escort Fleet to escort Wide Haul or Heavy Haul loads to the job site at various points around the mid -Atlantic region. Candidates will be required to operate a manual pickup truck to escort the tractor-trailer. 

The position may require multiple day trips, with occasional overnight trips. 

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour

Candidates should expect to 2-3 days a week with some days being 10-12 hour work days.  

This position is located at our High Steel Structure plant in Williamsport, PA

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Valid drivers license
• Ability to pass DOT physical
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to pass NY Certification Program
• Ability to pass VA Certification Program
• Ability to follow written instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent
