Equipment Operator

Job Details: Job Location: Bisbee Agronomy - Bisbee, ND, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Equipment Operator ensures the safe, precise, and effective application of crop-enhancing products, supporting farmers in achieving healthy yields and sustainable practices. This role is vital to strengthening food security, protecting natural resources, and fostering community prosperity through responsible agronomy solutions.

Reporting Relationship

This position will report to the Agronomy Location Manager.
Qualifications: Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Custom application: Using specialized equipment to apply agricultural chemicals and fertilizers based on recommendations and label directions.

10%

Member Relations: Building relationships with farmers and providing tailored solutions to meet their agronomic needs.

5%

Safety and compliance: Adhering to environmental regulations and safety standards during product application.

10%

Equipment maintenance: Keeping application equipment in good working order to ensure efficiency and reliability.

5%

Inventory management: Monitoring product levels and coordinating with the agronomy team to maintain supply.

20%

As a member of the Legacy team, team members will be asked to work with others in areas outside of their department and assist when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Commercial driver’s license (Class A) or ability to obtain within 30 days.
HAZMAT, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements or ability to obtain within 30 days.
Custom applicator’s license.
Working knowledge of MSDS labeling.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as an Equipment Operator.
Agricultural cooperative or agriculture related experience.
